Six football student-athletes honored by PhilSteele.com

Six Arizona State University football student-athletes were named to Preseason All-Pacific-10 Conference Teams and two were named Preseason All-Americans in Phil Steele's 2010 College Football Preview magazine. The magazine will be available on newsstands by June 8.

Sophomore linebacker Vontaze Burfict (Corona, Calif.) was named a Preseason Fourth-Team All-American, where he was joined by senior kicker Thomas Weber (Downey, Calif.).

Burfict also earned Preseason First-Team All-Pac-10 accolades. Weber, junior defensive lineman Lawrence Guy (Las Vegad, Nev.) and junior cornerback Omar Bolden (Ontario, Calif.) were all Second-Team All-Pac-10 choices. Senior wide receiver Kerry Taylor (Chandler, Ariz.) and junior defensive end James Brooks (Flagstaff, Ariz.) rounded out the list as Fourth-Team selections.
