Participants needed for dietary supplement study


The Nutrition unit in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation is looking for volunteers to participate in a study that will look at the effect of a dietary supplement on antioxidant (vitamins C and E and quercetin) absorption.

To be eligible, you must be at least 19 years of age, at least 110 pounds, a nonsmoker and healthy, with a body mass index of less than 28. To calculate your BMI, visit http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/.

Blood will be drawn on three visits each lasting eight hours, urine will be collected and dietary questionnaires must be completed at the Tempe or Polytechnic campus.
