Mike Pollak and Brandon Rodd invited to 2008 Hula Bowl

TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State University senior linemen Mike Pollak (center) and Brandon Rodd (left tackle) have been invited to play in the 62nd annual Hula Bowl game, to be played on January 22, 2008 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The game, which is in full cooperation with the NFL, will pit college seniors from across the country against each other in a Kai (East) vs. Aina (West) format.

Scouts from all 32 NFL teams will be present throughout the week for practices as well as numerous off-the-field activities and community events.

The majority of the participants are expected to be selected in the 2008 NFL draft, which is held in April.

The Sun Devils (8-1, No. 9 BCS) face UCLA in the Rose Bowl Saturday at 12:30 p.m. PT on ABC.
