Fundraiser to benefit newly established Chipotle sustainability scholarship


<p>Stop by a Tempe, Ariz. Chipotle restaurant on Earth Day, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., April 22, and support the Chipotle Sustainable Food Food Systems Scholarship program for ASU’s School of Sustainability. The scholarship, established by Chipotle this year, will annually award at least one $1,000 scholarship to a School of Sustainability undergraduate student. The first award will be given in May.</p><separator></separator><p>During the fundraiser, customers who stop by one of three Tempe, Ariz. locations and purchase food and show a fundraiser flyer, event graphic on their mobile device or mention they're dining in support of the fund will be donating 50 percent of their purchase directly to the scholarship fund.</p><separator></separator><p>The three locations participating in the fundraiser are:</p><separator></separator><p>• Tempe Marketplace Chipotle, 2000 East Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe, Ariz. 85281<br />• Rural &amp; Baseline Chipotle, 815 East Baseline Road, Tempe, Ariz. 85283<br />• Mill Avenue &amp; 11th Street Chipotle, 1038 South Mill Ave., Tempe, Ariz. 85281</p><separator></separator><p>Through its vision of Food With Integrity, Chipotle is seeking better food not only from using fresh ingredients, but ingredients that are sustainably grown and naturally raised with respect for the animals, the land, and the farmers who produce the food.
