Deantre Lewis named ASU Athlete of the Week


<p>True freshman <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/lewis_deantre00.html">… Lewis</a> is this week's athlete of the week for the second time in the past two weeks. He ran for104 yards in his first career start against Oregon State, which now gives him three consecutive games with 100 rush yards.</p><separator></separator><p>This marks the first time since 2003 that an ASU running back has totaled three straight 100-yard games. In addition, he is the first Sun Devil since George Montgomery in 1993 to collect a 100 yard receiving and rushing game in the same season, which he accomplished this against Portland St. His averaging 7.8 yards per carry and in the last 5 games he has scored 5 touchdowns making him a dual threat with over 500 yards rushing and receiving.</p><separator></separator><p>The Sun Devils are looking to turn it up against the University of Washington on October 9, 2010 at Husky Stadium.
