30 W. P. Carey disciplines rank in top 25 in U.S. News and World Report
U.S. News and World Report on Tuesday released its 2021 Best Graduate Schools rankings. With the new academic discipline listings, the W. P. Carey School of Business now ranks in the top 25 for 30 distinct undergraduate and graduate programs and fields of study.
The U.S. News graduate-level specialties lists placed W. P. Carey No. 4 in project management, No. 11 in business analytics and No. 12 for production/operations. The school ranked 13th in both information systems and management and 17th in entrepreneurship. Additionally, the W. P. Carey School ranks No. 19 in the international specialty and 20th in accounting. Each specialty ranking is determined by feedback from business school deans nationwide.
“It’s always rewarding when our programs and the reputation of our academic departments are acknowledged by our peers,” said Amy Hillman, dean of the W. P. Carey School. “These rankings — including several new specialties — continue to validate the hard work and dedication of our students, alumni, faculty and staff. They also reflect our commitment to offering a world-class education that delivers in-demand skills for students from all walks of life pursuing a wide range of careers.”
U.S. News rankings released in January placed the school’s general management and marketing No. 1, business analytics No. 2, and finance No. 3. W. P. Carey also ranks No. 10 among all online MBA programs — the eighth straight year the program has made the top 10.
The W. P. Carey School ranked No. 6 for online graduate business programs, No. 10 for online MBA, No. 18 for executive MBA, and No. 35 among all full-time MBA programs. The highest-ranked part-time MBA in Arizona, the W. P. Carey School’s Professional Flex MBA program, placed No. 23 in the latest rankings, ahead of Texas A&M University, the University of Florida, and the University of Arizona.
