ASU Music Prep Program registration is open for 2014-15

The ASU School of Music Prep Program begins its 27th year with pride in its history, gratitude toward its many participants and a vigorous commitment to continued excellence.

Registration for the program, which is open to students ages 6 to adult, began June 1 and will end Sept. 1.

The Music Prep Program provides students from the community with opportunities for quality instruction in piano, guitar, saxophone, voice, flute, theory, composition, music history and early childhood music from ASU faculty and selected, highly qualified performance/pedagogy graduate students.

Music Prep students enjoy a well-planned and varied curriculum, emphasizing the development of musicianship skills through private study, performance and music-theory application. The pairing of individual and group lessons provides students with the best possible combination for enjoyable and effective learning of these skills.
