ASU race car team gets insurance for a pace lap at Phoenix International Raceway

The members of ASU's Formula SAE team — a student club building a Formula-style race car for a national competition in June — were hoping to do a pace lap at Phoenix International Raceway on April 2.

Two big hurdles stood in the way: insurance and finishing the car. They've found a sponsor for the insurance, but will the car be ready?
