ASU postdoctoral scholar Kohei Kamada, of the School of Earth and Space Exploration and the Department of Physics, has been selected to attend the 66th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Lindau, Germany.

At the annual Lindau meetings, Nobel laureates convene to meet the next generation of leading scientists: undergraduates, doctoral students and post-doc researchers from all over the world.

The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings foster the exchange among scientists of different generations, cultures and disciplines. The theme of the 66th meeting in 2016 is physics.

Kamada earned his master’s (2008) and PhD (2011) at the University of Tokyo in the Department of Physics. He is working at ASU’s Cosmology Initiative, researching theoretical particle physics, with a focus on cosmology and the early universe.

Kamada will be among only 400 of the most qualified young scientists in the world given the opportunity to enrich and share the unique atmosphere of the Lindau Novel Laureate Meeting, to take place June 26-July 1 in the Alps of southern Germany.
