Nearly 30,000 race participants wound their way through the streets of Tempe on April 11 for the 22nd annual Pat's Run, which was kicked off this year by actor, comedian and veteran Rob Riggle. The event is the signature fundraiser for the Pat Tillman Foundation, which honors the legacy of the late football player and Army Ranger.

More than two decades after former Sun Devil Football star and Army Ranger Pat Tillman was killed by friendly fire while serving in Afghanistan, communities across the country gather each year for Tillman Honor Runs hosted by the ASU Alumni Association. The event has particularly special meaning in San Jose, California, Tillman's hometown.
