A few hours before the show, model Laila Minnich has her hair done by Patrick Santa Ana.
Model Syivie Zakian, seen in the reflection, has her hair slicked back before walking the runway.
Backstage, fashion design student Angel Mencos preps his pieces.
A winding sidewalk at Grand Hope Park behind the ASU California Center Grand in downtown Los Angeles served as the runway for more than 100 looks.
