Jim O’Donnell is the University Librarian of Arizona State University and a professor in the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies. Previously, O’Donnell served as provost and professor of classics at Georgetown University for a decade, after a career at Bryn Mawr College, Cornell University, and the University of Pennsylvania.

Nadya Bliss is Director of the Global Security Initiative (GSI) at ASU. She is also Professor of Practice in the School of Computing, Informatics, and Decision Systems Engineering. Before joining ASU, Dr. Bliss spent 10 years at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, most recently as the founding Group Leader of the Computing and Analytics Group.

Frank Serafini is an author, illustrator, photographer, educator, musician and professor of Literacy Education and Children's Literature at ASU's Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. In addition, Serafini was an elementary school teacher for nine years and spent three years as a literacy specialist in K-6 classrooms.

Clive Wynne is a Professor of Psychology, director of the Canine Science Collaboratory at ASU, and author of the newly published bestseller, "Dog is Love: How and Why Your Dog Loves You." Born in England, Wynne earned his undergraduate degree at University College London and his doctorate at the University of Edinburgh.

Michelle "Lani" Shiota joined the social psychology faculty at ASU in 2006 after earning her undergraduate degree in Communication at Stanford University, her Ph.D. at UC Berkeley, and receiving post-doctorate training at the Berkeley Psychophysiology Lab. Shiota's research focuses on human emotions, relationships and awe.

Matthew Delmont is a Professor of History at ASU. Jamie Winterton is the Director of Strategy for ASU’s Global Security Initiative, where she creates novel solutions for multifaceted and disparate problem spaces. Winterton coordinates and participates in defense and security-related research, with a special emphasis on cybersecurity.

Steven J. Tepper is dean of the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at ASU. Liz Lerman is a renowned choreographer, performer, writer, educator and speaker, and the recipient of numerous honors, including a 2002 MacArthur "Genius Grant," a 2011 United States Artists Ford Fellowship in Dance and a Deutsch Fellow. In 2016, she was named the first Institute Professor at ASU's Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.
