Is your heart healthy? ASU offers risk screening

It never hurts to take a proactive approach to your health – and the  ASU Employee Wellness Program is here to help.

The Wellness Program has partnered with the Mayo Clinic to offer cardiac risk screenings between 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Dec. 9, in the Center for Translational Science Activities (CTSA) mobile unit. The unit is located behind the Student Recreation Center at the corner of Normal and Apache in Tempe.

The screening, which could take up to an hour, will include:

•    risk factor questionnaire,
•    blood pressure,
•    height-weight-BMI,
•    finger stick lipid profile and
•    an exit interview with a Mayo Clinic nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
