Writers Workshop offers tips for President's Awards applicants

December 01, 2010

Think you have a project worthy of winning one of the three prestigious 2011 President's Awards? Then you should sign up for the Dec. 8 Writer's Workshop, which has been designed for employees who want to learn more about submitting an application for the President’s Award for Innovation, the President’s Award for Sustainability or the President’s Medal for Social Embeddedness.

At the workshop, applicants will get useful tips on how to present information concisely and clearly so award examiners can easily review each submission against the specific award criteria. Dr. Shelly Potts and Associate Director Lenay Dunn of the University Office of Evaluation and Educational Effectiveness also will teach attendees how to measure and report project results.

For more information about the President’s Awards, visit HR Recognition online at cfo.asu.edu/hr-recognition. To register for the Writers Workshop, contact Linda Uhley no later than Monday, Dec. 6 at linda.uhley@asu.edu or at 480.965.5089.
