Wosinski receives Outstanding Educator Award


<p>The SCRA Council of Education Programs (CEP) is proud to recognize Marek P. Wosinski as the second recipient of the CEP's Outstanding Educator Award. The purpose of the Outstanding Educator Award is to recognize an SCRA member who has made exemplary and innovative contributions to the education of students about community psychology and community research and action.</p><separator></separator><p>This award is based on excellence in the following criteria:</p><separator></separator><p>• Promotion of innovative strategies in education that integrate community psychology theory and action.<br />• Significant contributions to the structure and process of education in community psychology, research, and action. <br />• Consistent, high quality teaching and mentorship contributing to the professional development of students and/or recent graduates involved in community research and action.<br />• Contribution to fostering a positive climate that supports undergraduate and graduate students in their setting.</p><separator></separator><p>Based on recommendations from students and colleagues, Dr. Wosinski clearly excels in these areas.</p><separator></separator><p>&quot;By introducing students and involving community organizations and practitioners for the wellbeing of the entire community Dr. Marek has not just contributed to the field but he has managed to change the way students learn, interact, and get involved in the area of community.&quot;</p><separator></separator><p>We sincerely recognize and congratulate Dr. Marek P.
