Women's tennis travels to San Diego to compete in ITA Southwest Regional


The Arizona State women’s tennis team heads to San Diego to compete in the ITA Southwest Regional Championships hosted USD and San Diego State, Oct. 20-24.

Competing in the event for the Sun Devils will be: senior Michelle Brycki, senior Sianna Simmons, junior Hannah James, junior Nicole Smith and freshmen Joanna Smith and Leighann Sahagun. Brycki received both the ninth overall singles seed in the tournament and the eighth overall doubles seed in her pairing with James.

Arizona State will compete for the doubles and singles tournament titles against players from Arizona, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Northridge, Hawai’i, Long Beach, Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, San Diego State, UC Irvine, UCLA, UC Riverside, UCSB, USC, USD.
