Women's tennis hosts 17th Annual ASU Thunderbird Invitational

The Arizona State women's tennis team hosts the 17th annual ASU Thunderbird Invitational, Nov. 4-6 at the Whiteman Tennis Center in Tempe, Ariz. The Sun Devils will host teams from California, Fresno State, Michigan, Kansas State, Northern Arizona, Northwestern, Ohio State, San Diego and Utah.

Admission to the event is free and free parking will be available to spectators in the nearest parking structure to the Whiteman Tennis Center. Doubles play will begin at 8:30 a.m. each morning with singles play to follow.

Last season, Arizona State senior Kelcy McKenna took home the tournament singles title, defeating Northwestern's Belinda Niu. With the victory, McKenna became the first Sun Devil to claim the home-tournament title.
