Women's golf takes third place at Wildcat Invitational
The ninth-ranked Arizona State women’s golf team finished in third place at the 2012 Wildcat Invitational, hosted by the University of Arizona, in Tucson, Ariz., Tuesday. The Sun Devils shot a three-round team total of 20-over 884 (291-296-297).
Fifth-ranked senior Giulia Molinaro recorded her fifth-consecutive top-15 finish and her third top-10 finish of the season. The senior shot a three-round total of 3-over 219 (72-74-73) to finish in a tie for eighth place on the blustery day down south.
Sophomore Daniela Ordonez tied for 12th place in the competition with a three-round total of 7-over 223 (74-75-74). Ordonez’ finish at the Wildcat Invitational is her second top-15 finish on the year.
Next up, the Sun Devils compete at the Northop Grumman Invitational, Feb. 13-15, in Palos Verdes, Calif.
