Women's Golf Jimenez named Second-Team All-American

Arizona State sophomore Noemi Jimenez was officially named a 2013 second-team All-American the Women’s Golf Coaches Association announced today. Jimenez finished her season leading the women’s golf team to a fifth place team finish and a tie for 10th place individually at the 2013 NCAA Championships.

Jimenez had a break out year for the Sun Devils winning back-to-back tournaments at both the Cal Classic and the Darius Rucker Invitational for the first time since WGCA Player of Year Louise Stahle accomplished the feat in 2005.

Named to the All-Pac-12 first team, Jimenez finished the season with the 14th-lowest scoring average in the nation at 72.48, which is good for sixth best in the Pac-12.
