Wissler to address ABA meeting


<p><a href="http://www.law.asu.edu/Apps/Faculty/Faculty.aspx?individual_id=312">Ros… Wissler</a>, Research Director of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law's Lodestar Dispute Resolution Program, will present a paper at the American Bar Association's Section of Litigation's Access to Justice Symposium on Dec. 4-5 in Atlanta.</p><separator></separator><p>Wissler's paper, &quot;What Do We Know Empirically About Counsel in ADR Proceedings,&quot; reports research examining the effect of the parties' representational status on their mediation experience and on the mediation process and outcomes. <br /><br />The symposium will explore issues raised by the ABA's 2006 Resolution urging that legal counsel be provided to low-income litigants in certain categories of civil cases.</p><separator></separator><p><span style="font-size: 9pt; color: black; font-family: Tahoma" lang="EN">Janie Magruder, <a href="mailto:Jane.Magruder@asu.edu"><font color="#0000ff">Jane.Magruder@asu.edu</font></a><br />(480) 727-9052 <br />Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law</span></p>
