West campus Homecoming schedule is spooky-good

If a man is judged by the company he keeps, Arizona State University’s West campus should score highly during the upcoming “Devilish Homecoming 2010” celebration at West Thunderbird Road and 47th Avenue. After all, Linda Blair, Dracula, Sparky and ASU’s next top talent will be featured during the weeklong festivities, Oct. 25-29.

Homecoming culminates on Oct. 30 in Tempe with a parade, block party and football game pitting ASU’s Sun Devils against the Cougars of Washington State University at Sun Devil Stadium.

“Our students have worked hard to put together a great schedule of events,” said Elizabeth Langland, ASU vice president and dean of the West campus-based New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. “Each year there are new twists, as well as the more traditional events. The schedule of events is a wonderful prelude to Saturday’s schedule in Tempe.”
