Tuchi appointed Interim U.S. Attorney


<p>John J. Tuchi, a '94 alumnus of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, was recently appointed Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona according to a recent press release by the Department of Justice.</p><separator></separator><p>Tuchi has been a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the past 11 years, and has held various leadership positions such as Chief of the Criminal Section, as Deputy Chief of the Appellate Division and has served in its Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force. He clerked for Judge William C. Canby Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, practiced law with Brown &amp; Bain, P.A., of Phoenix and was named to Southwest Super Lawyers in 2007.</p><separator></separator><p>Tuchi taught Professional Responsibility at the College of Law as an adjunct professor and during the free &quot;Bar Prep Series 2008&quot; course conducted last spring.
