Tsosie delivers talk at sustainability symposium


<p>Professor <a href="/Apps/Faculty/Faculty.aspx?individual_id=127">Rebecca Tsosie</a>, Executive Director of the Indian Legal Program at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, spoke at a symposium about developing and sustaining the world's natural resources that was held on Friday, Feb. 6 at the University of Houston Law Center.</p><separator></separator><p>Tsosie talked about energy development and its effects on Native Americans during the symposium, &quot;Sustainability: Moving from Theory to Practical Application,&quot; which was sponsored by the Center's <i>Environmental &amp; Energy Law &amp; Policy Journal</i>.</p><separator></separator><p>Tsosie teaches in the areas of Indian law, Property, Bioethics, and Critical Race Theory, as well as seminars in International Indigenous Rights and in the College's Tribal Policy, Law, and Government Master of Laws program.
