Trenk outraises, outspends opponents in runoff election
<p>Adam Trenk, a 2L at the College of Law and candidate in a runoff election to be held May 19 for two Cave Creek Town Council seats, has raised and spent more campaign contributions than his opponents, according to <i>azcentral.com</i>.</p><separator></separator><p>Between Feb. 19 and March 30, Trenk raised $11,885 and spent $4,118, and has taken in a total of $17,381 in campaign contributions, including $2,200 of his own funds.</p><separator></separator><p>Trenk's opponents are Jim Bruce and Thomas McGuire.</p><separator></separator><p>According to an article by Beth Duckett, a reporter for <i>The Arizona Republic</i>, Trenk said that he hadn't expected to "garner so much money."
