Teaching tolerance amidst local mosque vandalizing video

A recent viral video showing two women vandalizing a local mosque while sharing their ideology with three young children brought the topics of hate (and hate crimes) and tolerance back to the forefront. 

In a roundtable panel organized by local radio station KJZZ (91.5), ASU Associate Professor Rebecca White shares her thoughts on teaching tolerance in our society. She discusses the multiple socializing forces that have influence in our lives (parents, schools, neighborhoods, media and social media) and that we should be taking action at all levels to stand up for what’s right.
