Sun Devils stun in 45-14 opening game against Weber State By Emma Greguska | August 29, 2014 Arizona State University's fall 2014 season opening game against Weber State kicked off with a host of activities and gatherings at the Devils on Mill and Devils on College pre-game events Thursday evening. Students and fans gather in the Teachers College area for a quick game of pickle ball to get the action going. Sun Devils sported their best gold attire in preparation for the game. Children play giant chess at the new Devils on College pre-game event, just outside the newly constructed College Avenue Commons building. The Sun Devils storm the field with Head Coach Todd Graham to kick off the 2014 season against Weber State. The student section - known as the Inferno - was awash with gold as they cheered for their team. As always, Sparky the Sun Devil was there to keep fans revved up for the game. Junior wide receiver Jaelen Strong books it down the field, deftly avoiding the grasp of the Wildcats.
