Arizona State University’s West campus will host an exhibition game between the Sun Devil women’s soccer team and Northern Arizona University at 7 p.m., Aug. 15. Admission is free, and spectators may park free of charge in Lot 2, on the south side of campus, at 4701 W. Thunderbird Road in Phoenix.

“Coming on the heels of the World Cup, the ASU community is excited about the start of soccer season, and we are happy to bring the team to the West campus to kick off the 2014 season,” said Chad Morgan, director of Sun Devil fitness at West. “The men’s lacrosse team drew big crowds while playing its home games on the West campus in the spring, and the Aug. 15 soccer game provides another opportunity for West Valley residents to come out and support Sun Devil student-athletes.”

The soccer team will be gearing up for a fall season that includes early-season showdowns against Oklahoma State and Texas A&M during the Sun Devil Desert Classic, Sept. 5-7 in Tempe.

The full season’s schedule for Sun Devil women’s soccer has been finalized and posted online.
