Student volunteers needed for fall vaccine drive

ONEshot Arizona State is looking for student volunteers for its inaugural vaccine drive this fall.

ONEshot Arizona State has partnered with ASU Health Services to aid in providing meningitis vaccinations during Fall Move-In events on all four ASU campuses. Volunteers will have the opportunity to positively impact not only the lives of fellow ASU students, but also the lives of at-risk individuals in the meningitis belt of Africa

Those who volunteer their time will also receive a free ONEshot t-shirt, as well as a training session led by public health nurses from ASU Health Services. Volunteer dates for Fall Move-In are between Aug. 18-20 and the training session will be scheduled the weekend before these dates. Sign up at http://tinyurl.com/cf4mo7q.

Spaces are limited and will fill fast. For more information email Justin Zeien, vice president of peer mentoring, at oneshotasu@gmail.com.

ONEshot Arizona State is a student-run university chapter of ONEshot Global, a nonprofit organization that saves lives by facilitating meningitis vaccinations to college students living in university residence halls, while still addressing the global issue at hand through peer advocating and public health awareness. For every vaccine given, ONEshot donates a vaccination to the meningitis belt of Africa.
