Spring ArtFest, Easter Egg Hunt set at ASU
Artwork and crafts by Arizona State University faculty, staff and students will be featured at the second annual Spring ArtFest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at the Tempe campus.
The sale, sponsored by The Devils’ Workshop, will take place on Hayden Lawn.
The second annual Easter Egg Hunt also will happen that day. Eggs will be hidden all over the Tempe campus, with numbered slips inside. Prizes will be awarded to pre-drawn numbers.
On sale will be ceramics, jewelry, batik T-shirts, hand-made greeting cards and more.
There also will be a silent auction of works donated by the participating artists. Proceeds will go toward a gift to the Herberger School of Art’s “wish list,” awarded annually.
The department to receive this year’s donation will be announced at noon at the ArtFest.
