'Snowquestration' cannot stop Congressional delegation breakfast

Key members of the Arizona Congressional delegation and staff listen to ASU President Michael Crow during a breakfast March 7, in the Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, D.C. Each year, ASU’s Federal Relations Office hosts a Congressional delegation/key staff breakfast or lunch.

“Our Congressional delegation enjoys this event and hearing from President Crow,” said Stu Hadley, the director of ASU’s Federal Relations Office. “This year, six of our members and a couple dozen key staff heard an update highlighting the many advancements at ASU over the past decade.”

Senator John McCain, Congressman Trent Franks, Congressman David Schweikert, Congressman Matt Salmon, Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema and Congressman Ron Barber all attended.

Hadley added that they were especially pleased at the turnout this year, as it took place while Washington, D.C., had basically shut down in anticipation a major winter storm, dubbed "snowquestration."
