SELSA symposium to feature sports/entertainment lawyers


<p>A line-up of top professionals in the field of sports and entertainment law will speak at a day-long symposium of the Sports and Entertainment Law Students Association on Thursday, March 19, in the Great Hall of Armstrong Hall at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. The panelists will answer questions about the legal issues, challenges and demands they've faced during their careers.</p><separator></separator><p>Participating in the sports panel from 10 a.m. to noon are Caleb Jay, Associate General Counsel for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Doug Rhoads, coordinator of officials for the Atlantic Coast Conference, Brian Weinberger, an attorney in the Scottsdale office of Buchalter Nemer, Don Bocchi, Senior Associate Athletic Director at ASU, and Dana L. Hooper, an associate at the Phoenix firm of Bonnett, Fairbourn Friedman &amp; Balint, P.C.</p><separator></separator><p>From 1-3 p.m., an entertainment panel with Phoenix attorneys James M. Marovich, Connie J. Mableson and Debora L.
