Schroeder to speak on banking regulation, regulatory reform


<p>Professor <a href="http://www.law.asu.edu/Apps/Faculty/Faculty.aspx?individual_id=54">Milt Schroeder</a>, of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, will speak on Banking Regulation and Regulatory Reform at a three-hour CLE program, &quot;Advising Business Clients in a Distressed Economy.&quot;</p><separator></separator><p>The program, put on by the Arizona State Bar and co-sponsored by the Business Law Section, will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the Wells Fargo Conference Center in downtown Phoenix.</p><separator></separator><p>Schroeder is engaged in ongoing research in various topics of current interest in the fields of banking and commercial law, such as proposals for reforming financial institutions and the effort to prevent banking systems from being used to assist in financing terrorism.
