Schroeder to participate in review of secured transactions law


<p>Professor <a href="http://www.law.asu.edu/Apps/Faculty/Faculty.aspx?individual_id=54&quot; target="_blank">Milton Schroeder</a> of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law has been asked to review and recommend changes to Article 9 on Secured Transactions of the Uniform Commercial Code as part of a joint committee appointed by the American Law Institute and the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws.</p><separator></separator><p>The joint committee will meet Friday and Saturday, Sept. 25-26, in Minneapolis, Minn.</p><separator></separator><p>Schroeder is engaged in ongoing research in various topics of current interest in the fields of banking and commercial law, such as proposals for reforming financial institutions and the effort to prevent banking systems from being used to assist in financing terrorism.
