Schedule set for PeopleSoft training sessions

July 18, 2006

The OASIS Student Records team will conduct general information sessions beginning July 24 to familiarize the ASU community with how classes will be represented in PeopleSoft (PS), and the connection of the catalog to class offerings and sections.

These sessions are for anyone involved or interested in the class scheduling process.

Here is the class schedule for the two-hour, general information sessions:

• 1-3 p.m., July 24, Tempe campus, SCOB 228.

• 1-3 p.m., July 25, West campus, CLCC 299.

• 9-11 a.m., July 26, Polytechnic campus, Student Union Cooley Ballroom A/B.

• 9-11 a.m., July 27, Tempe campus, MU 226 BC (Ventana Room).

There also will be hands-on training for class schedule mentors the weeks of July 31 and Aug. 7. These training sessions will consist of a series of four morning or afternoon sessions and are by invitation only.

The Student Records team is working with contacts throughout the university to identify mentors who would attend these sessions and serve as a resource for other schedulers using PS. Hands-on training sessions for the other class schedulers are planned for September and October.
