Rose presents paper at legal history conference


<p>Professor <a href="http://apps.law.asu.edu/Apps/Faculty/Faculty.aspx?individual_id=72">Jon… Rose</a> presented a paper at the inaugural conference of the European Society for Comparative Legal History, “Law and Historical Development from a Comparative Perspective,” which was held July 5-6 at the University of Valencia in Spain.</p><separator></separator><p>Rose presented “Advocatorum Militia: The Chivalric Ethos of the Legal Profession - Loyalty and Honor.”</p><separator></separator><p>After spending most of his career focusing on antitrust, regulation and legal ethics, Rose changed direction. His primary scholarly interests now involve medieval and early modern English legal history, and his research focuses on the history and regulation of the legal profession and the operation of the medieval legal system. Rose, a Willard H.
