Road closures, traffic detours on Polytechnic campus

The Williams Field and Power Road entrance is restricted until further notice. Motorists are encouraged to use Sossaman Road on the east side of campus by entering from either Ray or Pecos off of Power Road. Entrances to the campus from Sossaman include Avery Ave. and Texas Ave., both of which connect to the Williams Campus Loop.

Beginning June 20, the intersection of Sagewood and Unity will be closed for sewer installation. There will be rolling closures along Sagewood between Unity and Williams Field Rd. for the next two weeks. Some driveways, as well as Lots 24 and 27, will be affected. Construction personnel will visit each building as the closures happen to keep occupants aware. In addition, the intersection of Edgewater and Williams Field Rd. is closed to remove the concrete median on Edgewater. The right lane on Williams Field Rd. going west will be closed as well. Lot 5 is no longer available for parking. Please use lots 2, 6 and 8 as alternate parking lots.

Williams Campus Loop Road will be widened around the campus and critical new infrastructure will be installed to accommodate for growth, make it more efficient to travel on campus as well as safer for pedestrian foot/bicycle traffic. Traffic delays and increased noise should be anticipated/expected during this project, and please follow all détour and informational signage. We appreciate your patience during this construction.
