Psychology Department seeks Assistant Professor for Clinical Program


<p><strong><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">ASSISTANT PROFESSOR—CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY</font></font></strong><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"> </font></p><separator></separator><p><font face="Times New Roman"><font size="3">The Psychology Department at <strong>Arizona State University</strong> invites applications for a tenure- track Assistant Professor position to begin Fall 2008.<span>  </span><span>We are a highly collaborative, research-oriented department that values interdisciplinary approaches (http://www.asu.edu/clas/psych/).</span></font><span style="font-size: 9.5pt">  </span><font size="3">The Clinical Program consists of 12 tenured faculty members and approximately 45 graduate students.<span>  </span>We operate our own in-house training clinic.<span>  </span>Current programmatic areas of emphasis are child clinical, health, and community/prevention.</font></font><span style="font-size: 9.5pt"><font face="Times New Roman"> </font></span></p><separator></separator><p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font face="Times New Roman"><span style="font-size: 9.5pt"><span> </span></span><font size="3">A Ph.D. from an APA-accredited clinical psychology program is required. Applicants must show evidence of potential for a high quality research program in adult psychopathology or therapeutic interventions for adults. Evidence of potential for excellence in mentoring, clinical supervision, and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels is desired.<span>  </span>Review of applicants will begin <strong>December 12, 2007</strong> and will continue weekly until the search is closed.
