Professor offers expertise for construction companies

Thomas Schleifer, associate research professor in the Del E. Webb School of Construction, authored a featured article in a recent edition of Engineering News Record, one of the leading business and technical news publications for the construction industry.

In the article, he offers his expertise on how construction companies can cope with market downturns. 

Schleifer consults, teaches and develops programs for the Alliance for Construction Excellence, an industry support, education and training organization that operates within ASU's School of Construction.

Author of the Construction Contractor’s Survival Guide, Schleifer is a construction business and management consultant with four decades of experience in the industry. Through his economic and market research, he has developed predictive models and strategies to respond to market-cycle challenges.
