After some overnight mischief by Oregon fans that turned the Tempe Butte "A" green, it received a fresh coat of black paint for the Blackout game against the Ducks.

On the second snap of the game, Will Sutton forced a fumble that was recovered by Davon Coleman (43) which set up the first ASU touchdown. Despite the early score the Ducks handed the Sun Devils their first Pac-12 loss, 43-21.

Following the scrimmage, the team signed autographs for the fans. The Sun Devils open the regular season at 5:30 p.m., Nov. 10, against Central Arkansas.
The Devils were pretty in pink – and pretty effective – as they swept Oregon State 3-0 in the Dig Pink volleyball match, Oct. 19. Their luck was not as good Oct. 20, falling 3-0 against the Ducks of Oregon. The Sun Devils will hit the road again, traveling to Stanford for a 7 p.m. match up, Oct. 26. On Oct. 28, ASU will face off against California at noon on the Pac-12 Network.
