Participants needed for weight loss, osteoarthritis study

Attitudes and beliefs toward weight loss in people with osteoarthritis is the subject of an ASU research study, and participants are needed.

The Center for Healthy Lifestyle Research at Arizona State University is looking for individuals over the age of 45, who have osteoarthritis and are overweight, and who have either tried to lose weight or are interested in losing weight.

The study will consist of one discussion group that will last about 90 minutes. Participants will be asked a series of questions about their experiences trying to lose weight and their attitudes and beliefs toward weight loss.

Participants will receive $25 for their efforts.
