Parking and Transit seeks Sun Devil feedback in spring survey

Parking and Transit Services values its parking permit and transit pass holders, and appreciates the feedback it receives from all campus commuters to ensure that the programs made available to the ASU community best fit Sun Devil transportation needs. PTS wants to hear from students and employees about the things it does right, the areas that could use improvement, and what parking and transportation programs Sun Devils would like to see put into place.

All ASU faculty, staff and students are invited to complete this survey so PTS can enhance its transportation services, improve the way it communicates with the campus community and continue striving to provide the university with superior customer service.

All who complete the survey by 11:59pm on April 28 will have the opportunity to enter into a drawing to win prizes, including an iPad mini or a $50 Sun Devil Campus Stores gift card.

PTS conducted a similar survey two years ago and, thanks to Sun Devils who participated, PTS has made some significant program enhancements including:

• implementing the Eco-Pass program

• creating the Carpool Perks program

• ensuring each intercampus shuttle is equipped with free Wi-Fi and GPS for real-time tracking

• launching Twitter and Facebook pages as another means to more effectively communicate with its customers

• lowering permit prices in four parking facilities between the Tempe and Downtown Phoenix campuses; no permit rates have increased since the 2009-2010 academic year

• converting 54 percent of Tempe campus meters from one-hour meters to two-hour meters

• introducing more motorcycle parking options in the form of Surface-only and Structure-and-Surface M/C permits; both types are valid across the four campuses

• partnering with ECOtality to have six, Level 2 Blink electric vehicle charging stations installed on the Tempe campus
