Nominations for student awards

<p>ASU’s Office of Public Affairs invites ASU faculty and staff, or representatives of a community service organization, to nominate a graduating ASU student for this year’s Jose Ronstadt Outstanding Undergraduate Award and/or the Ed Pastor Outstanding Graduate Student Award.</p><separator></separator><p>Award recipients will be recognized during the Fall 2009 Hispanic Convocation ceremony at 5 p.m., Dec. 17, at Gammage Auditorium.</p><separator></separator><p>Honorees will be selected based on the following:</p><separator></separator><p>• Academic achievements, GPA, and other academic recognitions (honors, scholarships and awards).<br />• Community service and volunteer activities while attending ASU.<br />• Engagement, involvement and leadership in ASU organizations or in the community.</p><separator></separator><p>The application and all required materials must be received no later than Nov. 25.</p><separator></separator><p>A PDF of the application can be downloaded <a href="http://www.asu.edu/hispanicconvocation/downloads/OS%20Award%20App%20F09…; or by visiting the Hispanic Convocation Web site at <a href="http://www.asu.edu/hispanicconvocation">www.asu.edu/hispanicconvocation…;
