Nominations for student awards

ASU’s Office of Public Affairs invites ASU faculty and staff, or representatives of a community service organization, to nominate a graduating ASU student for this year’s Jose Ronstadt Outstanding Undergraduate Award and/or the Ed Pastor Outstanding Graduate Student Award.

Award recipients will be recognized during the Fall 2009 Hispanic Convocation ceremony at 5 p.m., Dec. 17, at Gammage Auditorium.

Honorees will be selected based on the following:

• Academic achievements, GPA, and other academic recognitions (honors, scholarships and awards).
• Community service and volunteer activities while attending ASU.
• Engagement, involvement and leadership in ASU organizations or in the community.

The application and all required materials must be received no later than Nov. 25.
