Marchant speaks on sustainable energy

Professor Gary Marchant, of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, participated in a panel discussion at "Sustainable Energy: The Intersection of Innovation, Law, and Policy," a conference held on Feb. 10 at Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pa.

Marchant, Executive Director of the College's Center for the Study of Law, Science, & Technology, addressed, "Sustainable Energy Technologies: Lessons from the History of Technology Regulation."

The conference, sponsored by the Widener law school's Law & Government Institute and the Widener Law Journal, considered the impact of government efforts to foster innovation in energy efficiency and renewable energy.
