Marchant quoted in 'State Press'

<p><a href="http://apps.law.asu.edu/Apps/Faculty/Faculty.aspx?individual_id=6">Gary Marchant</a>, the ASU Lincoln Professor of Emerging Technologies, Law and Ethics, and director of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law’s Center for Law, Science &amp; Innovation, was quoted in the ASU <em>State Press</em> about technology, privacy and the law.</p><separator></separator><p>“For all of those in this room with a (cell) phone, your location is being tracked,” Marchant told a meeting of the Law &amp; Science Student Association on Tuesday, Oct. 5.</p><separator></separator><p>According to documents from Sprint, 8 million “pings,” which collect latitude and longitude data from users’ phones, were released last year to police agencies across the country.
