Marchant to present at energy/environment conference


<p><a href="http://www.law.asu.edu/Apps/Faculty/Faculty.aspx?individual_id=6">Gary Marchant</a>, Executive Director of the College of Law's Center for Law, Science &amp; Innovation and Lincoln Professor of Emerging Technologies, Law and Ethics, will be among 650 speakers at a Phoenix convention about solving America's energy problems and reducing carbon emissions.</p><separator></separator><p>Marchant will discuss "Sustainable Energy Technologies: Lessons from the History of Technology Regulation" at the EUEC 2010 Energy &amp; Environment Conference, Feb. 1-3, at the Phoenix Convention Center. An audience of more than 2,000 people is expected.</p><separator></separator><p>The conference has 12 tracks offering special subject areas including sustainability, reliability and green, energy and climate policy, biofuels, biomass and biogas, renewable energy, and environment and alternate energy. He teaches courses in Environmental Law, Law, Science &amp; Technology, Genetics and the Law, Biotechnology: Science, Law and Policy, and Nanotechnology Law &amp; Policy.
