Lyric Opera Theatre announces new season


<p>ASU's award-winning Lyric Opera Theatre is announcing their 47th season of performances at the Evelyn Smith Music Theatre on the Tempe campus.</p><separator></separator><p>The lineup is as follows:</p><separator></separator><p>• "Tartuffe" – performances at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 1, 2, 9 and 2 p.m., Oct. 10. Conductor: William Reber. Director: Graham Whitehead.</p><separator></separator><p>• "The Secret Garden" – performances at 7:30 p.m., Nov 19, 20, Dec. 1, 3, 4 and 2 p.m., Nov. 21. Conductors: William Reber and Wayne Bailey. Director: Dale Dreyfoos.</p><separator></separator><p>• "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" – performances at 7:30 p.m., Jan 28-29; 2 p.m., Jan 30; 7:30 p.m., Feb 2, 4, 5; and 2 p.m., Feb. 6. Conductor: Samuel Henderson. Director/Choreographer: Lauren Margison.</p><separator></separator><p>• "Hansel and Gretel" – performances at 7:30 p.m., March 3-5 and 2 p.m., March 6.
