Lynk makes ABA presentation

Myles Lynk, the Peter Kiewit Foundation Professor of Law and the Legal Profession at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, addressed the members of the American Bar Association's Law Practice Management Section at their fall meeting on Friday, Oct. 17, in Tucson.

In his talk, entitled, "Choice and Opportunity:  Race, Politics and the Practice of Law," Lynk spoke about the impact of Barack Obama's experiences as a lawyer and his candidacy for President, on the recruitment and retention of African-American lawyers in majority law firms and corporate law departments.
