Library issues due-date reminder


<p>Officials with the ASU Libraries remind all borrowers that they are responsible for meeting the assigned due dates – or recall due dates – of all checked-out materials, whether or not they remain on campus.</p><separator></separator><p>By using the “My Account” function on the libraries homepage, <a href="http://www.asu.edu/lib">www.asu.edu/lib</a&gt;, borrowers can renew their books, verify due dates, check for recalls and add or update their e-mail addresses. Borrowers also can recall checked-out items online. An item may be recalled at any time, and recall fines are strictly enforced.</p><separator></separator><p>Borrowers who are leaving campus for any extended time (such as vacation, semester breaks, sabbatical leave or university business) should return all materials or check the status of their library items by viewing their circulation accounts through “My Account” on the online catalog search screen.</p><separator></separator><p>Borrowers also can designate someone to open and forward library mail that may come to their campus address.</p><separator></separator><p>Borrowers also can have their library notices sent to their e-mail addresses by accessing their accounts online and adding their e-mail, or by contacting any library circulation desk. They also can have a second e-mail address added to their accounts.</p><separator></separator><p>To verify the May intersession and summer schedule, call (480) 965-3415.</p><separator></separator><p>In addition, since library staff will be processing the book returns every day (including days when the building is closed), all loan and recall policies will be enforced.
