Lecture: How Can Universities Face the Challenges Before Us?

Dr. Jonathan R. Cole, one of the nation’s preeminent scholars and most admired university leaders, will explore the vital role of America’s research universities as engines of technological and economic growth – and the urgent need to protect them.

• Introduction by ASU President Michael Crow. 
• Open to the public. 
• Free admission. 
• Light refreshments will be served.
• Free parking available in the Fulton Center parking structure.

Also, Dr. Cole will be at Changing Hands Bookstore for a book signing 7 p.m., Feb. 11,  Changing Hands Bookstore, 6428 S. McClintock Dr., Tempe.
