Learn Italian and Spanish basics in no-credit classes


Interested in learning Italian or Spanish to enhance your travels, enrich your world-view or energize your brain? The School of International Letters and Cultures offers six-week, no-credit basic language and culture classes in Italian and Spanish through Arizona State University’s Continuing Education program, starting next month.

Both classes, Gateway to Italian and Gateway to Spanish, are designed to cover basic grammar, vocabulary and culture in a stress-free communicative setting.

Price: $325 for registrations received before Monday, Sept. 15; $350 after that.

Gateway to Italian
Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5:30-7 p.m., Sept. 23 through Nov. 4.
(No class Tuesday, Oct. 4)

Gateway to Spanish
Mondays and Wednesdays, from 6-7:30 p.m., Sept. 22 through Nov. 3.
(No class Monday, Oct. 13)
